Author / Contributor Guidelines

Thank you for considering contributing to VCET-TechZette. To ensure the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and professionalism, we have established the following guidelines for authors and contributors:

Submission Process

  • All submissions must be sent to techzette@vcet.edu.in.
  • The article should be sent in Word format only.
  • The Images/Graphs/Pictures, etc. should attached separately in the mail.
  • Please use a subject line that clearly identifies the nature of your submission (e.g., “Article Submission,” “Guest Post Proposal”).
  • Include a brief author bio (approximately 50 words) at the end of your article, along with your social media(preferably LinkedIn)/contact information.
  • Check out the example attached here (Example), and prepare your article accordingly. Kindly note that you are required to keep the header and footer as it is.
  • The authors are informed that VCET-TechZette does not charge money for the publication of selected articles.
  • The whole service of VCET-TechZette is Free of Cost.
  • Before submitting the article kindly go through the complete guidelines provided below and also the disclaimer notice.

Content Originality

  • All submissions must be original content. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism (reusing your own content without proper citation), is strictly prohibited.
  • If your submission has been published elsewhere or is simultaneously submitted to other publications, please inform us during the submission process.

Content Relevance

  • Ensure that your content aligns with the focus and themes of VCET-TECHZETTE, which include [e.g., artificial intelligence, machine learning, technology trends, industry insights, how-to guides, etc.].
  • Content should be well-researched, up-to-date, and provide value to our readers.
  • The article should be of help for students/learners of all levels, from school, undergraduate, postgraduate, to doctorate.

Formatting and Style

  • Articles should be in English and written in clear, concise language.
  • Use proper formatting, including headings, subheadings, and bullet points to enhance readability.
  • Cite sources and provide references where necessary. Follow a recognized citation style (e.g., APA, MLA).
  • Avoid excessive jargon and ensure that technical terms are explained for a general audience.

Article Length

  • Aim for articles between 800 to 1,500 words. Longer articles may be accepted if the content justifies the length.

Images and Multimedia

  • Include relevant images, graphs, charts, and multimedia elements to enhance the visual appeal of your content.
  • Ensure that you have the rights or proper permissions to use any visuals you include.

Editing and Proofreading

  • Thoroughly proofread and edit your article for grammar, spelling, and clarity before submission.
  • VCET-TechZette reserves the right to make minor edits for clarity and consistency.

Author Responsibility

  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the information presented in their articles.
  • Notify us promptly if any information in your article becomes outdated or inaccurate.

Conflict of Interest

  • Disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial interests, affiliations, or personal relationships that may influence the content of your article.

Copyright and Ownership

  • Authors retain the copyright to their work but grant VCET-TechZette the right to publish and distribute the content on our platform.

Review and Publication

  • Submitted articles will go through a review process by our editorial team.
  • The editorial board’s decision is final regarding acceptance or rejection of submissions.
  • Authors will be notified of the publication status of their articles.

Promotion

  • We encourage authors to promote their published articles through their social media networks and personal channels.

Engagement

  • Respond to comments and engage with readers who provide feedback on your articles

Compliance with the Disclaimer

  • Acknowledge and adhere to the terms outlined in VCET-TechZette’s disclaimer.

Removal of Content

  • VCET-TechZette reserves the right to remove any content that violates our guidelines or standards at any time.
